Course Detail

Target Group

 

Any person who has successfully completed and in possession of a minimum qualification of B.E. / B.Tech (Civil) or B.Arch. (or equivalent) or Diploma in civil with 5 years’ experience shall be eligible to take up the course. Self-attested photocopy of degree/diploma certificate (or equivalent) to be submitted with application.

 

Duration

 

The duration of the course shall be 7 days.

 

Classes

 

The course will preferably start on Friday and classes shall be held in the evening from 5.30 pm to 8.30 pm on weekdays. However, there shall be two classes on Saturday and Sunday from 2.00 pm to 5.00 pm and 5.30 pm to 8.30 pm. There shall be one day off during the course preferably on Monday. The candidates shall have to make their own transport arrangements for attending the classes.  The candidates will receive date and time table of the classes through e-mail.

 

Field visits shall be conducted for hands-on exposure to innovative technologies, which shall be optional.

 

Batch Size

 

The size of each batch of course shall be limited to 40 candidates so as to achieve a manageable class size and encourage good participation and interaction.

 

Attendance

 

It is advisable that the candidates attend all the 8 sessions so that they do not miss on any of the aspects of the subject. 

 

Venue

 

In view of prevailing global pandemic scenario, the Course will be conducted through ONLINE Classes on virtual platform.

 

Faculty

 

The faculty shall be experts in the area of alternative technologies drawn from Academic Institutions, Industry, SPA New Delhi and BMTPC New Delhi.

 

Examination

 

At the end of the course, there will be online examination based on Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ). This may be taken at any time at any day within 45 days after conclusion of the course.

 

 

Certificate

A certificate shall be awarded to each of the students on successful completion of the course after passing the examination.
